Reworking. . .

here is one of the new reworked pieces. . .

I've basically toned down the colors and tried to give it a sense of more space. The black is no longer 100%, which lightens the overall piece.

well, another week has gone by and I'm going through all of my work and trying to complete the pieces that have been hanging out there in the ether. I'm hoping to pare down on the issues I've stated in the past and focus on completing the work.

I'm also working on a movie that I can hopefully post next week. I'm really looking forward to showing it.

Its the last of the semester for me and I'm really starting to get into searching out master programs. Its going to be interesting.

here are a few of my new pieces.

I've been relying on photography more, and limiting my use of brushes. I found that i like the texturing that happens when I overlay pictures and brushes. Trying to use more colors. I've been putting more thought behind the the works and am researching different imagery.

Well, so much for the posting soon comment, this weeks, been so busy that I forgot to post, even though I sat down more than once to upload more work. Sometimes I think I have ADD!!

Well, here are quite a few of my new pieces.
I've been using more photography and have been interested in textures, its a little closer to the type of work that I was leaning towards but its not quite there yet. I really like how they have come together and the colors in these recent work.
